Alex and i alone

With Jerry and Kathy at the mission retreat in Mexico, Alex an i are enjoying our free time at home. Alex has spent most of her time out side while I've been painting the living room.
Today coming back from B&B"S(an Amish store) took pictures of the civil war reenactment on Shippensburg Univ. grounds. Also check out the big hanging flower baskets at a new Amish store.

lovely cool weather

Hi; We are enjoying cooler weather in the 70's, so nice. Jerry's burned right leg is better. The back of his left leg, knee to butt cheek is bruised/purple. That's why it has been so sore.

Jerry's first time on bike

Hi all;
Jerry's first ride on new bike lasted less than 10 min.. He spun out in the yard , bike tipped over burning top layer of skin off his left calf. That heat shield gets hot fast. Andrew loves the bike and did much better riding in just a short time.

Jerry's new toy

It's at least 90 degrees out with 90% humidity, ugh! Jerry's bike came. He is still waiting on the paper work, (hope this saves me and i don't get a blog citation). Love you, mom

Sunday Lunch

Hi;
Jim & Shirley, Grandma & Stephine stopped by after Church for some good family time, we don't get to visit that much at Church or thru the week. We all enjoyed our selves and enjoyed a light lunch with salmon(from Kodiak) salad, and strawberry short cake. Steph enjoyed herself looking at Roxie and Josh's blog pictures.

Another really really good yard sale

Hi all;
At a car dealership no longer there, they had a finale yard sale to clear out the remaining odds and ends of tires, truck caps, etc. Pic: Black cap $40.00, New truck wheels $25.00 ea., Jerry and Andrew after carrying red truck cap to back yard. Red cap only $20.00 needs small window. The pretty flowers in our yard. love you, mom
