2008 Thanksgiving

We had a smaller gathering this year, nice. But all of grandma's children were there and most of their children. Everyone has gotten older and some of us wider. A little bird-house Jerry built. It took Jerry and Andrew standing on the back of his truck to lift the house up on to that pole. There are lots of tenants living there. The picture of the little boy is "TT"(Timmie)at Church. He comes with his sister and grandma and grandpa. He was got himself up on that big rock and was waving good-by to each car as they left the parking lot. Our best farewell for the week. Love you, mom

finally a new blog posting

Sorry it has been so long.
Our news is that with Jerry being laid off his job on Friday he is now officially retired! It will take a little mind adjustment but he will be fine. So looking forward to not having to get up early any longer.

Had Josh all to myself on Thur. Went for ride to see places he remembers.
Friday Andrew came over and we went to airport to pick-up Tensie(Joshua's special friend from Minnesota). What fun we had making Josh nervous about our behavior ameeting Tensie for the first time. Labor Day Weekend and Grandma's 91st birthday

Saturday was grandma's 91st birthday and most of the family celebrated by camping together at Lowery's. Most of the family were able to go for boat rides, we enjoyed rough camping and our kayak's.
